AbleTo is a holistic, virtual mental health counseling and coaching program tailored to individual patient care needs.

AbleTo was at a pivotal point when I joined the team. As the fourth design hire on a growing team I was part of the core team defining and executing on the future of the product. Although dedicated to one product line (internally called Therapy+), I had responsibilities that stretched beyond my title. On Therapy+ I partnered closely with the lead designer, clinical, data, and engineering teams to understand context, goals, and constraints to create an Alpha experience which we tested with users to understand opportunities to iterate and improve the product. This research also helped guide our UX pillars. Within a year we were able to take the product from a beta to launch with select clients.

Alongside the launch of Therapy+, the company was also defining its voice for the first time in 8+ years. With new brand guidelines in hand, we hit the ground running on redesigning the entire experience. This gave us an opportunity to build internal building blocks for future support like the design system, templates, and illustration libraries. I played a crucial role in all these efforts but the design system and accessibility was my highest priority. I partnered closely with other designers as well as developers to collaborate on solutions.
